Feel like a true soldier and take the wheel of a Leyland DAF 45/150 GS 4×4 Truck during this military driving experience in Bicester. A great day out for army veterans, military enthusiasts and those who love to try new things, this is one driving day you’ll never forget!
The experience begins with registration on site, then you’ll greet the expert instructor and head over to the mammoth truck to begin your drive. The instructor will go over the controls, the history of the vehicle, and how the military used them back in the day, before settling down in the passenger seat to let you take over. With a 6 litre 150bhp Cummins diesel engine and a 5 ton load capacity, the truck may take some getting used to, but once you’ve got the hang of the controls you can put the 60mph max speed to the test! For up to twenty minutes you’ll test drive the army truck around the Bicester off-road track, constantly receiving guidance from the instructor beside you to ensure you’re making the most of the vehicle.
